Ayer estaba en la cama y por culpa de mi esposa me ví forzado a ver ésta película, ya que me ganó de mano con el dvd. Tenía una referencia ya de ella, pero la verdad que como las películas medio antiguas no son de mi agrado, no la había llegado a ver con antelación.
Fué como evitar reírse cuando alguien se tropieza, e inevitablemente terminé mirandola, Torres 10 de por medio.
La película trata sobre una madre en 1924 que vive sola con su hijo de 9 años, el cual le desaparece una mañana y luego de reclamar airadamente a la corrupta policía de Los Ángles, le es restituído pero de una manera que ella nunca hubiese pensado.
A partir de ahí comienza una lucha contra el poder por parte de la madre (interpretada por Angelina Jolie), con la ayuda de un pastor muy famoso de L.A. interpretado por John Malkovich, un actorazo. La policía va a intentar recurrir a métodos increíblemente crueles para lograr no quedar mas mal ante la opinión pública, y luego la trama va alrededor de eso aunque se pone un poco bastante densa para mí al final.
La historia es cruel, indignante y creo que eso la hace atrapante, pero por otro lado no terminó de convencer ni a mi esposa ni a mí, el puntaje bro. es un 6.5, en IMDB le dan un 8.1 unos 43000 votantes.
